We believe that the work of the ministry is rightly done by the saints using their gifts (Ephesians 4:12). It is not just Christian leaders who ought to serve, but rather every member from the least to the greatest must worship God through their reasonable act of service (Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 12:21-24).
The reason for a church body who serves with zeal is two-fold: (1) when God’s people use their gifts, they put the victory of Jesus on display (Ephesians 4:7-8), and (2) when they employ their talents for the benefit of the others in the body, it is built up in maturity and love (Ephesians 4:15-16).
As such, it is our desire to train our people to serve well and give them many opportunities to serve. From nursery workers to groundskeepers, from web masters to Bible teachers, from prayer warriors to kitchen workers, from encouragers to helpers of all kinds . . . all of us are to serve Christ through our local church!
