Missions

We desire to form significant partnerships with missionaries whose goal is to penetrate unreached people with the gospel, plant ongoing indigenous churches, and mobilize its people for Great Commission work themselves

We have a long and honored history of supporting missions, domestically and across the world. The motivation to do so comes from our desire to be part of God’s eternal plan to bring salvation to the nations. This is not merely a New Testament plan, but has always been the plan. Notice the worldwide salvation promise contained in God’s call of Abraham: “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3 The Lord promises incredible, undeserved blessings for Abraham and his descendants here. Great promises indeed for a couple who were barren (cf. Genesis 11:30)! But the promises were not for his family alone, but so that blessings would come to “all the families of the earth.” This worldwide blessing would come through the saving work of Jesus Christ. It is our desire both to know Jesus and make Him known to the praise of God’s glory and the joy of all peoples. We echo the words of the Psalmist:

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the people praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy” Psalm 67:1-4

It is our desire to partner with missionaries to the end that Christ the Redeemer will have more praise, more worship, more glory . . . because His worth demands it!
